That’s why we’re so excited to share two important opportunities for you to get involved, speak up, and help directly shape the future of DCHC.

 

 

Take Our Strategic Planning Survey – Tell Us What Matters Most to You

We’re developing our new five-year strategic plan, and we want your input right at the heart of it. This short survey is your opportunity to tell us:

 

  • What services or programs you value most
  • What you’d love to see expanded
  • What new ideas or supports would make a difference for you and your family
  • Where you feel gaps still exist—and how we can address them

 

Every response helps us build a stronger, more responsive DCHC! One that reflects what our community members truly want and need.

Join Our New Client Advisory Committee

We are officially launching DCHC’s very first Client Advisory Committee (CAC) – a dedicated group of clients who will work alongside staff to guide how we design, deliver, and evaluate our programs, tools, and policies.

 

This committee isn’t symbolic. It’s real decision-shaping, experience-influencing, care-improving work.

We’re looking for approximately 10 clients to join this inaugural group. As a member, you will:

  • Participate in regular meetings
  • Share your lived experiences and insights
  • Review ideas, new initiatives, and client materials
  • Help us strengthen equity, inclusion, and accessibility across our services
  • Ensure our programs truly reflect the diverse needs of the community we serve

 

The committee officially launches in January 2026, and all selected members will receive full orientation and support.

 

If you’ve ever thought, “I wish DCHC offered ___,” or “Here’s something that would make my care experience better,” this is your chance to help make it happen. We’d love to have you at the table.
