Employment in Durham Region Workshop
Employment in Durham Region Workshop is offered in partnership with Durham College.
This course is for you if are:
- A job seeker with a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN)
- >19yr
- A Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Refugee Claimant residing in Ontario
- Able to speak and understand English
- Not attending a post-secondary program
What’s involved?
- Hands-on experience with point-of-sale system
- A training plan and learning support
- Connections to receive job search support
This is an opportunity to improve your skills to work in the Durham Region in key areas such as:
- Customer Service
- Teamwork
- Money Math
- Communication
- Conflict Resolution
When: April 14-28, 2025 Monday-Friday.
Where: Durham Community Health Centre – 115 Grassmere Avenue, Oshawa
