Join the Black Health and Wellness Team at DCHC for “Ubuntu in Action: Building Health Literacy, Building Community.”

Ubuntu is an African philosophy emphasizing interconnectedness, community, and shared humanity. This incredible event brings together partners like Lakeridge Health, Durham Region, Alzheimer’s Society of Durham Region, Walnut Foundation, DurhamONE, and the Central East Regional Cancer Program in the spirit of interconnectedness and community!

The day will focus on health matters that impact Black men in Durham Region. There will be cancer screenings, chronic disease screening, panel discussions and some delicious food!
