Mawka-giizis (Bear Moon) Full Moon Ceremony

Join the Indigenous Team at DCHC to honour Makwa Giizis (Bear Moon). The bear moon is the time that cubs are born into the bear dens, with mother bear protecting, teaching and caring for them.

This moon is a time of awakening to the medicines within ourselves, just as the cubs are learning of their medicines and connection to Creation. It is also a time to align our energies with community and all of Creation for healing of all our relations, joining our hearts and prayers for healing.
