Binaakwe Giizis (Falling Leaves Moon) Full Moon Ceremony

Join the Indigenous Team at DCHC in a gathering to honour Binaakwe Giizis (Falling Leaves Moon),also known as the Hunters/Blood Moon. Binaakwe Giizis marks the beginning of hunting season when resources are gathered in preparation for the winter.

This is when our community prioritizing the safety and security of our Elders and families for the upcoming season.
